Description: There has been an on-going effort within the Stormwater GIS department to update and improve the delineations of the initial boundaries of these Drainage Basins based upon more accurate information derived from field surveys of underground pipe networks and improved drainage features. In addition, some of the new Drainage Basins particularly on the West side of Savannah including the newly annexed areas of the City have now been incorporated into the overall Drainage Basin Layer. The City of Savannah Stormwater Department has made great effort in determining the proper flow direction of all existing and improved surface ditches and underground storm pipes in order to properly delineate the correct boundary line of each Drainage Basin for CIP Drainage Studies. THIS LAYER IS EDITED REGULARLY, WITH MONTHLY REPLICATION.AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON THE SAGIS OPEN DATA WEBSITE (www.sagis.org).
