Description: The COS_DETENTION_PONDS layer is designed to serve as an up-to-date inventory of City-owned detention ponds. The City Stormwater Management Division is required to inspect them regularly to maintain NPDES permit compliance. Inspections are conducted at a frequency of 20 percent of the total inventory per year to meet the requirement that all City-owned detention ponds will have been inspected within the 5-year NPDES permit cycle. THIS LAYER IS EDITED REGULARLY. IT IS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC UPON REQUEST OF THE DATA OWNER/EDITOR.
