The City of Savannah Water Private Systems layer identifies some of the systems within the City of Savannah's Service Area that are privately owned and maintained. These systems are not apart of the City's water system.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The City of Savannah's Water Private Systems layer was created by Woolpert from data received from the Engineering Department, the Water Distribution Dept & Water & Sewer Planning & Engineering staff to determine which systems were privately owned and maintained and were not to be included in the City's water.distribution system.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Published in 2000</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Edited regularly, with weekly replication </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>In 2018, it was recognized that this feature class had been adjusted for cartographic reasons. Upon review, the Water Distribution Department decided to implement asset management and needed an accurate feature class for private systems.
