Properties located within these boundaries could be provided with water service from the City of Savannah.
<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The City of Savannah's Water and Sewer Service Area layer was created by City of Savannah Staff in 1985 to delineate areas within the City based on the City of Savannah neighborhoods where new sewer mains were installed. It later was updated and converted into GIS to include the water service area. The City of Savannah's current service area include Wilmington, Whitemarsh, and Dutch Islands and most of the Unincorporated Chatham County area.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Published in 2000</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>In 2018, these boundaries were updated to follow the 2018 parcel line boundaries for currently served properties with City water services. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Edited As needed</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>For Internal SAGIS partners use only, do not distribute.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
