Fields Pin, Prop_Addre, Land_Use_C, Legal_1, Legal_2, Zoning, Land_Use, Owner_Last_Name, Owner_First_Name were all taken from BOA's Parcel layer.
Fields Name, GIS_Acres, Ownership_Status, Accessibility, and Greenspace were all created and populated for this project.
Ownership_Status, the subtype field, indicates whether the parcel is in public, private or common ownership.
Accessibility indicates the type of public access to the parcel.
Greenspace indicates whether or not the parcel serves as greenspace.

None, it is expected that there are errors of both omission and commission.
Parks and other greenspaces were selected and subset from the Board of Assessor's parcel layer using a variety of tactics. Public ownership (Federal, State, or Local Government or Communal) was the first indicator. Land use codes from the parcel layer, legal descriptions from parcels, imagery and other ancillary data were then used to determine park or greenspace probablity.
The SUBTYPES are meant to be a useful way to sort the data. Common ownership means that a group (such as a neighborhood of homeowners) owns the property jointly. Ownership DOES NOT indicate accessibility.
NOTE that the public access is not a requirement for this layer, and that some parks (such as tennis courts), do not serve as greenspace. The Accessibility field is a work in progress; but will at least contain Public and Non-Public information when it is populated.
All golf courses, public and private, are included. Cemetaries and all named parks (from parcels) are included. Recreation/Amusement, Public Recreation, Government Property with Wetlands, areas are included. Common areas, Industrial Vacant Land, Church land, School land, Tower sites, Government Use land, Single Family, and Residential Vacant Land that appear to be parks or greenspace (from the 2008 imagery) are included. Most of these can be queried correctly with the Landuse field.
